As a professional massage therapist, I attempt to attend to our scheduled time closely with the exception of unexpected events (illness or other emergencies). I respect the value of your time, as well as mine. Following are practice polices designed to insure a predictable comfortable and safe experience.

Cancellation Policy
Please give 24 hours notice for cancellations. Clients not giving 24-hours notice for cancellation will be charged the full amount for the scheduled missed appointment time.
Late Policy
If the client is late for the massage, the massage will still end at the originally planned time. If I am late, every attempt will be made to insure fairness by allotting more time or decreasing the fee.
Payment
Payment is expected at the time of the massage. Unless special arrangements have been made, the client must be current in their payments to schedule additional appointments. Personal checks and cash are accepted.
Confidentiality
All clients can expect information obtained in the course of our therapeutic relationship to be kept confidential except with a written consent signed by the client to release information, or if the client discloses information that they may be considering harming themselves or others, or another person is harming them. In this event, proper authorities will be notified to insure client safety.
Hygiene
The client is expected to show up at the appointment having followed proper hygiene etiquette. A shower or bath must be taken just prior to the massage.
Modesty
After the history and before the massage, the client is asked to remove as much clothing as is comfortable for them. They will do this after the therapist has instructed them in how to position themselves under the sheets on the massage table. The therapist will leave the room while the client is undressing or dressing. Prior to entering the room the therapist will knock on the door and request permission from the client to enter. The only exception to this policy is if a client requires and requests assistance due to a physical infirmity.
Ethics
Massage is a medical procedure. Any misconduct (sexual, breach of confidentiality, etc.) is not acceptable.
